IPv6 provides a huge address space and enables recovery of the end-to-end Internet model. In this speech, we'll discuss some major aspects in which IPv6 may change the way of using the Internet, such as multi-homing and user-controlled routing architecture, secure address validation and planetary personal computing model. These changes will deeply influence the architecture of operating systems in the future.
